Dtoons Productions has launched a twitter page. It will be easier to update news and will also act as a journal. Check it out here.

"Wall-E" won Best Animated Film at the 66th Golden Globes. "Waltz With Bashir" won Best Foreign Film.

Two new links are up. Flaky Pastry by Félix Lavallée, and Penny Arcade by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik.

Conroy Cat is a comic I made in my cartooning class in SCAD. There's only 14 strips that will update through the course of two weeks. I hope to develop it more in the future. Click here to read it.
The
creators of "Death
Note" have made a new manga about kids who want to make manga for a
living. Read more about it
here.

A
new comic is added: Shi-Chi and
Anna! A short story about two girls who come across a famous fashion
model.
VG
Cats is a cool webcomic. Like the title suggests, it's a gaming
comic, and the best one out there.
The
lead alien from Disney's "Lilo and Stitch" has become pretty popular to
the point that he's getting his
own anime
series in Japan. Besides the new characters, all the characters from
the original film will look the same.
With this and "Powerpuff
Girls Z", I think we should all know by now that an anime remake of
an American cartoon isn't always an improvement.
I had this song stuck in my head for a long time. It was done by
TV's Kyle for Klondike commercial
competition.

My
favorite animated movie of all time is the French film,
Kirikou
and the Sorceress. The director, Michel Ocelot, has been interviewed
at
Ghibliworld.
I know I'm late and all, but I absolutely love the new look Cartoon
Network's been using. It's cute, creative, and doesn't have a bunch of
kids dancing.

New
York Times tells us that Marvel Comics is going to give their
characters the anime treatment. The
Marvel
Mangaverse and the new Wolverine manga by Del Ray apparently wasn't
enough.
I
decided to do something interesting with the webcomic links.
I also added Silent Kimbly in
the section. It's a webcomic that is cute and puntastic!

I found this cool video over at
Cartoon Brew. I had no idea iPhone's come with motion sensitivity!
Ben
Balisteri, an animator who's worked on "Danny Phantom", and "Foster's
Home for Imaginary Friends", has just made a graphic novel, "Seaweed
and the Cure for Mildew". The guy has a pretty cool art style, which
you can check out at his
blog.

A
new comic is added: Boyman! It's the adventures of a kid who wants to be
a superhero. Too bad his superpowers keep messing up on him.
PS
238 is a comic about a school for superheroes. I think it's the best
take on the idea so far.
Go and take a
look see. The comic updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
A
couple of "Simpsons" fans managed to make a map of the titular
character's home town, Springfield.
Check
it out!

Animated
full length movies are made all over the world, and barely any of it
reaches stateside. "Technotise -
Edith and I" is Serbia's first animated feature, and will be
released in the native country this fall.
Besides
news, I think it's also nice to post stuff that's just plain funny.
Enjoy!

AWN
points out that besides a sequel to Kung Fu Panda (which is great
because that movie was awesome), Dreamworks are already working on
another Madagascar sequel.
Thuromp
Van Orman, the creator of "The Misadventures of Flapjack" that airs on
Cartoon Network has a Deviantart
account. Craig McCraken, the creator of "Powerpuff Girls", and
"Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends",
has one as well.
Seth
McFarlane's is a busy guy. He has two cartoons on the air ("Family
Guy", "American
Dad"), a spinoff on the way ("The
Cleveland Show") and he's the highest paid writer in the history of
television. Plus he's got a deal with Google
to make animated shorts for the web, "Seth
McFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy". Now he's got a deal with
Burger King to make commercials that will air before these new webtoons.
Some people question his talents and think he's overrated. But right
now, I wish I'm getting what he's getting.

Balbians updated.
Singers Room tells us Ne Yo, the R&B singer and songwriter, is
developing a new cartoon for Cartoon Network called "What the Bear".
Only time will tell if the show can last longer than Andre 3000's "Class
of 3000".
Check out this cool student short from France
called Oktapodi!

Welcome to the new look of the Dtoons productions
website.
Since I'll be making comic books for a living, I figured I should make a
website more webcomic oriented!
There's not a lot here at the moment but that will change over the next
few weeks as you'll be able to read more comics that I made. So come and
visit often!
Unfortunately, there seems to be some glitches in the coding, but I'll
fix that soon as well.
